Linking Assets to Product Variants

You can link your assets to your product variants in the Product Variant form, or you can link your assets to product variants using the Asset ID in the Product Import Spreadsheet template when importing product data.

Accessing the Product Variant Form

When viewing a Product in the Product Form, you should see the product image (if linked) at the top left. To the right will be editable details about the product. Below that you have the options to Configure your Product Variant Table or Add Variants. Below that is the variant table. Within this table you can access the variants by the square arrow icon located beside the SKU:

Linking Assets in the Product Variant Form

Select a product variant and view it in the Product Variant form with the square arrow icon.

Add Assets will be shown in the center of the product variant form.

Selecting Add Assets prompts you to upload assets or link existing assets.

You can upload assets right from this view or select Link Existing Assets to view currently available assets you can link.

Use the check box to select one or multiple assets then select Link Asset.

Assets can be applied to multiple variants at the same time. Select assets and link them to multiple product variants in a single action.

You can also list assets in the Product Import Form when you import products by spreadsheet. List your exiting assets using the Asset ID under “Assets” in the spreadsheet. For more information on importing and mapping your products, check out these articles:
